Overview

I count Unibul Merchant services among the new-age group of MSPs/ISO. Just like some other new companies, they also have a strong social media appearance with an active Facebook and Twitter account along with a blog with lot of educational resources for new and even experienced Merchants.

As the company is established just 5 years ago, it looks like they are new to the game but it doesn’t really matter when it comes to their services. They are all equipped to deal with the online business and doing fine in last 5 years.

I will love to review them again after couple of years, to see if they are doing fine as 5 years don’t look enough to me to truly gauge the quality services of a company. When I chat with their customer service representatives, I felt good and impressed by their knowledge.

One advice, when talking to their reps, makes sure to scrutinize your contract and negotiate terms in favor before taking final decision.

I rate them 4 out of 5 as the company has no testimonials on their website and there is no BBB profile yet, but I hope they will look into this with their growth.

I couldn’t find any negatives online, but as usual, I’ll be keeping tabs on Unibul to see how they progress.

Verifiable Testimonials/References:
No testimonials on the Unibul site. They have so many other things right, but not this. If I was them, I’d get some up as soon as possible.

Security/Privacy:
Their website used to be secured by Rapid SSL, but when I checked it during this update, the certificate was no longer valid.

Customer Service:
Haven’t had a chance to deal with them personally, besides a couple back and forth emails. If you’ve worked with them, don’t forget to give us an update below.

Interchange-Plus Pricing:
Unibul does offer interchange-plus pricing.

Seasonal Downtime:

They also offer seasonal downtime. This means that they are going to charge only the statement fee of 9.95 dollars if your account doesn’t process a transaction for a month. This is an attractive feature especially for small merchants.
